What are NCR Pads?

What is an NCR Pad?

NCR (No Carbon Required) refers to paper which has been treated with a special coating. When glued together in sets of 2 or more sheets the paper reacts to the pressure of a pen. Whatever is written on the first sheet (or top part of the set) is copied onto subsequent parts of the form. This means there is no need for messy carbon paper. Once the sheets have been printed, they are collated then glued together into Pads of 50 carbonless NCR sets. If you require a different amount of NCR sets per pad, this is possible – please call us for a quote. Pads are normally glued along the short edge (but can glue the long edge if you prefer). Each pad has a grey board backing card. We can also add a fixed writing shield to each of the NCR pads if required – we charge 50p per fixed writing shield (minimum charge £5.00).
