What are NCR Books?

What is an NCR Book?

NCR (No Carbon Required) paper has been treated with a special coating. When glued together in sets of 2 or more sheets the paper reacts to the pressure of a pen. Whatever is written on the first sheet (or top part) of the form is copied onto subsequent parts of the form. This means there is no need for messy carbon paper. Once the sheets have been printed they are all perforated in one position. They are then collated together into books of 50 NCR sets as standard (we can however, change the amount of NCR sets per book if you require). The books are then stapled and bound with black binding tape to create a stub. NCR carbonless books are supplied with a cream card cover. All NCR carbonless books are backed with a firm grey board card. As an optional extra fixed writing shields can be attached to each NCR book. Consecutive numbering is also available.

  • NCR Carbonless Books are available as Duplicate (two part NCR), Triplicate (three part NCR) and Quadruplicate (four part NCR)
  • NCR Carbonless Books are available in four sizes as standard: 1/3 of A4 size, A6 size, A5 size and A4 size. If you require a different size, please call for a quotation.
  • Optional extra services including consecutive numbering can be added to your order for NCR Carbonless Books. We can also hole punch your NCR Carbonless Books (2 or 4 holes) so they will fit in a ring binder. We can also add a fixed writing shield to each of the books.
  • Every order we produce is manufactured to your exact requirements, from scratch.
  • We keep the job on file, so if you need to re-order all you need to do is call us.
